A non-profit in Boston is advocating the evolution of teaching methodologies for educators. All children are different, so why should they be subject to standardized ways of learning that may not suit everyone? This application presented a way to bring these new principles into the classroom in a very tangible way.

The current business process management tool at Market America is a series of dropdown menus and cryptic page and application names. I presented design and workflow suggestions that would be driven by user segments and credentials.

As with the Isotonix Autoship expansion, differences in backend management and legal meant we could not insert an existing autoship feature as is. We put together a satisfactory design and gave it back to Engineering for integration.

Some differences in backend management and legal considerations prevented the existing autoship model from being ported 1:1 from the main Market America shopping portal. I designed a similar layout using those considerations.

Planning and front end coding for a Facebook application.
This application allows users to build a small storefront that will integrate into their Facebook page. The interface direction was built to utilize Ajax features as HTML 5 drag and drop was not well supported when we started.

Contacted to come up with a UI for an iPhone app, I was able to help this client realize the myriad of possibilities (and the things they'd missed) for an engaging and easy to use mobile interface.
Good ideas spawn more good ideas. The client was extremely happy with the results and is still exploring potential features based on my findings.

I specifically requested this project as I felt there was an opportunity for improvement.
I was not content to simply put a new wash of paint over what was already there, so I took a more comprehensive approach. My initiative presented an array of previously under-utilized interaction and user centered design techniques.

In this temporary role, my job quickly expanded from designing the company's new website, to mocking up visual designs for their existing web applications.
Time was short, but I insisted we approach the design of the corporate site with at least a wireframe since Enta's stakeholders were not on hand. A single round of layout revisions and this concept was approved and went into visual design.
